I bought this memory card before you travel (2 weeks). The penultimate day of the journey, the card dropped me. My camera would neither read nor exploit only the format ... 800 photos in phase to be lost ... Also impossible to recover the photos from a computer and any data recovery tools that I've tested has been able to return me my files. Feels weird when the card was detected. It was 1GB instead of 16GB which really indicates a hardware failure. In short, I play warranty (lifetime). I had to send the card to the Netherlands where she will surely be shipped back to Asia where it will be disassembled to attempt data recovery. In all cases, Transcend replace my card but I have to wait ... TIP: during long journeys, choose 4 cards instead of one 4GB Card 16GB.
I put 2 stars because although I really have the balls, Transcend has been responsive and seems to provide a reasonable effort to try to recover my data.
