Creative, exciting, fun ... and a bit half-baked.

Long ago it - like a little kid, I've been looking forward to the new CD of Kasalla. As the big newcomers of last year's session were celebrated it, while the exciting thing is only just in its stylistic and thematic versatility that genres operated far beyond the meeting and party carnival. Punctually on the release of their second album it was so: Aff nohm disk loading and have bought!

Also on "Always en Bewäjung" is every song the funny d'r Freud, to the Five at what they do have, to listen. The album is stylistically balanced, bursting with musical and textual content-richness of ideas ... and yet. Yet something is missing.

I miss the little everyday stories, Kasalla tell me where I cut it on my legs and say, "Esu isset, Jenau su, dat I know och!" Sure, there are the (is quite great poetry as FÖR STILL FÖR ALWAYS WOR!) Well - but they are not so pointedly told, not so colorful painted like on the debut album "DÄ HENKER" or "POSS VUM FINANZAMP", and some good idea seems to be somewhere stuck in the embryonic stage.

I do not have absolute perfection in every note, every sound, every word is seated at the right place. "Weird Science" för e Beispill - What a terrific idea to deploy the Fußbroichs! And right they are indeed having their social criticism - but you have to really rhymes in the style of "Dä Silvio mows bunga bunga, de Butz trick to erunger" produce, to get fully only to the verses? And why it sounds the whole song through it, as if a pinball machine stood in the middle of the studio?

Ever - get full verses. "WOCHENENGK". When listening in the car the impression that there was only one dat Janze Leed minutes gesäuselten arises "when it rams Wochenengk?" and enumerating a few weekdays.

Of course the expected blast: "I eat MEAT" is and will remain cool, perhaps because Kasalla married on the second album, to make things completely crazy. "ALWAYS EN BEWÄJUNG", "yummy yummy" and "HÄTZENSBRECHER" make good mood - as it does not bother that creeps the impression that the band had in producing the album a bit much Peter Fox and Seeed belongs. On good people can and should be used for orientation Yes.
"MEAT UN Bloot" is a musical invitation to be nice to each other - in the best "Minsche like me" - and "pedigree" style, but not so dusty. Dat "SCHLOFLEED" is sweet - and "Saach JESTERN OP ARIES mind" time had come: Do I hatt Trone en d'r Äujelche stonn because it's such a nice hammer and sentimental song.

CONCLUSION: Some on the album sounds a bit half-baked, as if you can still file as a few days off - if not, the pressure had been there, the new album at 9:11. (Oh yes, on 11/11., There was still something ...) to publish. Maybe one or two songs would fell out, perhaps one or two to come. Ävver ungerm line mows dat nix: Kasalla might remain the best, definitely the most versatile musical band of the current Kölsch language music scene. Even the times must be acknowledged: The guys sing almost completely real Kölsch, not only High German Met e few Knubbele, so you also can accommodate on the next Ballermann compilation one or the other party hit. They remain the most sympathetic. For this reason alone it is worth to buy the CD and listen to up and down.
