I admit I devoured this book, there is no dead time. I attached to "She" and the discovery of his senses. There is a true love story, which may seem special to some but it has a side forbids very exciting. This book leaves no marble as it is very visual and olfactory, it can trigger a real imagination. Nothing vulgar or dirty. Each erotic passages is a moment of indulgence.
Furthermore the author (a woman) brings an interesting reflection about sex and pleasure seeking. Especially on female pleasure is not so easy to master, contrary to what other erotic books make believe. Her heroine will go through many stages to discover, love and learn to "enjoy".
The style is good, everything is fluid and full of literary references, musical and artistic. Moreover at the end of the book the author advises us a playlist that can accompany the reading erotic books and a bibliography if we want to introduce us to this literature.
Finally, the novel is set in Paris, was a true Parisienne impregnation, visit the streets and little corners of the capital. The author tells us there many small anecdotes about the artistic circles of different times and especially on the Paris and sexual libertine. Nothing is gloomy, everything is in eroticism, charm and sensuality.
In conclusion, if you want to start erotic literature, I strongly suggest you read "Hotel - a room" as input in the matter, you will not be disappointed. By cons if you like romance novels in rose water where the heroine is fully devoted to her lover, go your way because you may be at times a little disturbed by history. Indeed, here, loving relationships are changing code.
In any case it is one of the best erotic books I've read lately. It got me thinking and inspired for some things and I look forward to reading the two sequels planned
