What can be said otherwise on the battery grip:
-Unfortunately It must be connected via a cable provided with the camera, for which reason the cover on the left side is always open - for the manufacturer can claim anything, that just comes from the fact that Canon has provided no battery grip for the camera.
-The Memory card is no longer to switch directly. Reason for this is also the camera design by Canon. This has however not really bother me, as I am using a 64GB card, which is on the way never become full. My pictures I prefer since then through cable from the camera.
-The Rubber coating on the battery grip is not particularly neat - ergo: you can feel a definite edge between rubber and plastics.
-The Battery door rattles (pun intended). As already described by other buyers it helps to pinch a piece of paper.
-The Camera is much better in your hand!
-Horizontal Recordings are enjoyable to create.
-The Supplied batteries are perfectly okay and hold almost as long as the originals.
-2 Batteries last an eternity, although they are actually likely to hold as with 1 Battery only 2x as long.
Shutter releases has 2 levels (Focus and Shoot), as it should be and the pressure points are also in order.
Conclusion:
For the price (Incl. 2 batteries), if you look is quite usable on the drawbacks in the clear, which brings this product with them. That Mmine camera was damaged, however, is unacceptable to me, as this could have been avoided by a different design.
