Wifi adapter purchased to use the 5 GHz band, the original internal card is compatible 2.4GHz only.

Drivers Windows 8.1 download on the website, 2min installation and it is again a pleasure to sail and enjoy the fiber without being limited by WiFi (the 2.4 GHz band is fully saturated in buildings I could not even stream on Youtube or on my NAS).

A priori no obvious impact on autonomy, extreme compactness.

In brief: Windowsians friends, buy eyes closed.
