The unit made a terrible noise when I inserted the CD. It was an agonizing spasm apparently puisqu'ensuite it is finally adopted. It works like a toaster but there is no way to eject the wafer (except software, which means it still works) and must shake to bring out the CD!
I still have to find a similar case which is very elegant and put a good drive.
