I am an avid reader Deaver, Jeffery Deaver because I know as an outstanding writer of great tension. The beginnings of the series to Lincoln Rhyme I have all followed with great enthusiasm and was totally captivated by each episode. "The Kill Room" I expected full of excitement and have been sadly disappointed. Although Lincoln itself is still the same. But the storylines left much to be desired. They seemed in some cases even far-fetched for me. At the end of many chapters Lincoln is worried about what he might have overlooked, which thus leads him to the offender and to the truth. In the following chapter dissolves usually what tiny hint he has but then discovered and what conclusions it has drawn from them. This should increase the tension. Fair enough. With time always seemed new mini-notes and any resulting actions Great for me but more than constructed and no longer authentic. So then it was not surprising that in the end "all good" is.
