-for short nights or waking at irregular hours: The light prepares your clock but it's the music that finally wakes you (it's still better than a normal clock I think)
I just put a damper on the lamp in question, it seems to me that this is a halogen so no top level consumption over a bedside lamp. Otherwise I am very satisfied
