Goods because: The packaging is appropriate, all color coordinated in solid carton. I had ordered my white-orange JBL J55. What I noticed the same during assembly that the cable is plugged in headphones and additionally anchored with a rotary - SUPER thought along! Because when you're in action and times on / with the cable hanging somewhere will not slip out of this! The cable could also be a little longer but is ok. What has struck me is nowhere stated how loud is ultimately the headphones.
Frequency ranges etc all there, just the power in dB as a pure value is not found.
First operation: The headset even make a solid impression. Feel, weight and materials used are in contrast to many other headphones very good and the colors are great advantage.
The KH is structured slightly bevelled, adapted to the head shape. Sits also very good, is not tight but not loose, optimally, I would say.
Sound: The most important thing when KH! The depths are clear and crisp rübergebracht something punchier, a small benefit to my "old" Sennheiser. Come the middle felt something pressed and "variable", also quite variable when eg the headphones a few mm slides forward or backward.
What was decisive for me the decisive point is not to keep the KH / was not sufficient reproduction at high frequencies. It simply lacks the fine upper sounds, reverb and generally some volume overall picture technically. I also changed at the same time, but my "cheap" Sennheiser makes there a better figure. Oh, and according to the J55 .. :) (102-105db min.)
Overall, I'm a bit disappointed because I (JBL) would have expected a little more from Harman.
Can however well imagine that it is better suited for direct Disco operation because he felt more and builds good pressure me. For my needs not optimal for another listener he is viell. The best.
Addendum:. Unlike div plastic bombers like. the Bose AE2 (incredible) or Philips V55, OR, however the bass-heavy head crushing Monster is the JBL J55 OBERKLASSE !!
