The sound was very transparent and alive but actually lacked the bass. Then I tried a S size.
A difference like night and day. Significantly better stereo image, great resolution, high volume and: Definitely Bass.

The bass is now very precise and punchy but not overemphasized. It could, however, sometimes quite "something more" be.
In Madonna's "Music" the bass is certainly very present and the voice comes over very well yet, in this piece of otherwise difficult. Power station "The Mix" album -always a reference is given with absolute precision again. Even classical music - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Intro, very complex passages - is the listener along well. Otherwise, always a problem with small earbuds. Equinoxe by Jean-Michel Jarre sounds extremely transparent and alive.
All this pleases me much better than during the vote from Bose. I had even briefly the Sennheiser IE8, of which I was but quite disappointed.
But I think, but this may be due to the sound chip in the iPhone. Denn..so excelling these listeners were it not, especially not considering the high price. Perhaps from the iPhone but also simply not rauszuholen.

Now that Apple are not miracles, but they offer a very good sound, compensate for the missing volume of the iPhone and for the price the only handset with two transformer units, which you can hear in any case.

The remote control works with the iPhone 4 by the way without any restrictions what is already very comfortable. Excellent microphone.
