Normal I wear 7.5 (41.5 - both German and EU-level). Was therefore quite happy, as in the size specified EU 41 (UK 7.5) was - should therefore fit.
Unfortunately, the shoe falls but in the forefoot from quite a distance. Me as "Normalfüßler", but with broad sweeping bones of the big and small toes, it was still too comfortable. Even with thick socks all sat well loose. The velcro did not yield any significant improvement: I swam anyway.
As I am far Lowa, Wolverine and Merrell shoes for hiking (with socks !!) I was looking for an "airy" alternative. Was in this shoe not find: I can not wear this shoe without socks with socks I enjoy rather then the advantage of a stable hiking shoe.
Compared to a normal walking shoe sandal has the significant advantage of the lower weight on the foot. Too bad it does not work with this version of Camel.
If I finally found a good sandal I'll say it here.
