We are passionate coffee drinkers, so far actually 100% coffee, no cappuccino or other coffee based drinks "
Our little machine should already provide about 10 to 12 purchases per day, without going straight to the knee ;-)
Here are my + and - points, as well as some notes compared to Incanto.
Appearance: the Melitta is deeper (nothing for narrow countertops) but elegant to look at (ok taste ;-).)
+ Grinder is quieter, at least no such toxic "sound like the Incanto
+ 2 Bean hopper
+ Bean container transparent (so you can see if the beans out before the machine bleats -> at the Incanto not visible)
+ Height of the outlet more elegant convertible in two places at the Incanto, buttery soft, jerky because nix and hooked and you can assume large glasses
+ Before each preparation individually adjusted the Tasseneinfüllmenge (knob)
+ Before each preparation individually adjustable coffee strength on Tastendruch
+ Large pulp container
+ Large drip tray
+ Milchaufschäumquirl (I'm afraid we'll end up even cappuccino drinkers J) -> very good foam and with no effort to clean
+ Coffee temperature can be set (in the Saeco was me the coffee never hot enough at the Melitta you have already at the slightest temperature careful)
+ Not falter when slipping the beans, even switching from one to the other type of coffee does not cause problems (was here in some reviews to the contrary reading)
+ Cleaning the brewing unit just like the Saeco also
+ - That is after switching from one to the other type of coffee a remainder of the first in the grinder is, indeed logically ... therefore neither positive, nor negative
+ - For coffee drinkers who prefer a weak coffee and have small cups in use, the machine mE is unsuitable. The coffee is very strong despite rough grinding and the weakest setting. However, remedial measures are possible in this case: Replacing cups against goblet :-)
- Drip is mE super unwieldy, has too many rough edges and must be drained through the cumbersome size and clean as the Saeco
- Has to the brewing unit to be removed for cleaning the entire side covers are removed, would have been hinged door as "certainly resolve elegant
- The height-adjustable spout I feel for espresso cups to be too high
- The Tassenwäremeablage is perforated, I find impractical and not very hygienic (dust in conjunction me hmmm kitchen range?)
- Every 3 weeks want our machine its cleaning tablet (expenses about 15 minutes), but you have to stay close, because the engine requires more after the next keystroke.
- Descaling, every 4 weeks, even here not as well resolved as the Saeco ... there was only container underneath necessary ... The Melitta asked here several actions one after the other, so it is also more or less stand by Me.
Conclusion after almost 2 months:
Despite that "Melli" calls for more attention in care and a little more complicated when cleaning than the Incanto, I would buy immediately from today's perspective.
The individual adjustment of the coffee quantity, the quantity determined and the ability "to manage" 3 coffees at once I find very pleasant.
Milk foam is now also often prepared (both with 1.5% and 3.5% of milk is the result of fine)
At present, clear 5 star, I hope that we will retain the long Melitta.
