The parts have direct access into each other and tell the complete story. At least the story still comes from Naughty Dog (* sigh * Unfortunately). But the fourth part I leave here in this review from nothing, because as my mother used to say: "If you have nothing nice to say then do not say anything better!".
The gameplay is simple but ingenious. Everyone should come with the first part deal. For the second and third part, however, you should take a little more time, especially if the man wants Orbtrophäen. Because to say the least, it is easier to arrive at a needle in a haystack than to all Orbs in the second part. But not only the Orbsuche, but also the difficulty it has in the second part HUGE in itself! An inexperienced or quickly frustrated player should ever keep a spare controller ready because tantrums are inevitable in my experience. Compared I need for the first part of about 9 hours, for the third 30 (with heroic mode 55) and on the second part, I am now already a good 30 hours and have only about 60% of the Orbs! And the hero mode is yet to come in front of me, which is not nearly as simple as the third!
The melee attacks do not change in the course of the series. Apart from that used in the second and third part of a Jetboard and weapons, actually almost exclusively, so in my opinion, part 2 and 3 should be as a side shooter type. And Part 2 and 3 from the age of twelve, just like that time you can kill civilians and some make quite cruel include ATTENTION SPOILER !!! the torture of Jak dark Eco and his father's death in the third part.
Most cutscenes are simply also leased only to throw away ;-D Because apart from an interesting history has this series the humor. The situations and Daxters sayings (especially the opposite Krew * grin *) are something of awesome that you simply laugh MUST !!! The graphics are not really changed, it was only the resolution improves. So it looks exactly the same hair just as clear on the PS2. Since the graphics was also at that time of the developmentally up to date you can not complain. One can clearly see how the graphic details from part to part were better, especially the comparison of part 1 to part. 2
The musical background I find perfect for this game. Ask a few remember Crash Bandicoot.
All in all, the Trilogy is a must for any Jak and Daxter and jump and run fan.
