The Sony Xperia M and L were with me because of the feel and performance quickly. The Xperia V has not convinced with well, in part because the display has a yellow tinge. Still remained the Moto G and the HTC Desire 500th
The Moto G is a great smartphone. In my opinion it looks much better in real life than on the product photos. It seems also very valuable, which is partly due to its weight. Also, the HD display does a lot of her. Ultimately, I have but chose Desire 500.
Design
The HTC Desire 500 is very stylish, light and thin. I find a real flatterer.
Display
The HTC has no HD display, which with small fonts as fraying of the letter also stands out. Typically reading correspondingly smaller font is but anyway quite strenuous, so I enter zoome then. The display can be easily read even in bright sunlight - unless you disabled the power saving mode. The colors are very natural and really liked me. It is interesting the way that the Moto G has a 4.5 inch screen, but by integrating the key total represents a smaller screen space for content available in the display.
Camera
In good light, the images makes beautiful pictures with vibrant colors. At dark happened what in all cell phone cameras (and most compact cameras happened) - it roars and is muddy. The focus is quite fast and overall I am happy with the camera. An important criterion but that was not for me.
Power
The performance is absolutely sufficient for me. Internet, e-mail, listen to music, watch videos, etc. Everything works well. From time to time, however short hangers are then yet observed - here the Moto G looks a bit better performance. What impresses me the quick start of the smartphone. After an estimated 10 seconds, the phone is powered up!
Accumulator
The battery is 1800 mAh with not particularly strong, but it creates the Desire 500 thereby endure long. Even in the first days when I have a lot of messing around with it, the battery has held two days.
Software
The software is my personal highlight. In my Xperia Ray I had wished to have a naked cell phone without any pre-installed software. The Moto G is such a phone. Actually, wonderful, but also boring ... HTC has put together a good software package for my taste. The HTC keyboard is very similar to the estimated of me Swiftkey. The MP3 player supports folder navigation and the note program is a Evernote derivative! Really perfect! Last but not least, there is the Office Viewer and in my opinion, very, very good PDV-Viewer. So I commend it to me if already pre-installed software, then please also high-quality software! This I had to instalieren few apps and the fact that only 1 GB (4 GB) memory available falls, for me less important.
A word about HTC-Blink: Yes, you can disable or uninstall it not. I personally find but not as bad as I News about technology, science and IT to Display me there.
Call quality
Call quality is very good and better than the Moto G or the Sony handsets. Good course for the transmitter and receiver.
Conclusion: I am very happy with my first HTC smartphone and would recommend it.
