The reasons for this were the very long cutting path of 24cm (we usually have bread with 1.5 or 2 kg), the robust design and the inclination of the machine. We have them available on a pull-out shelf in a built-in shelves. By the inclination of the crumbs falling almost completely into the drip tray and you come to the power switch, even when the machine on the shelf (the next shelf is directly above the machine).
The cutting blade has only a slight serrated edge thereby also cheese or sausage can be well cut. Another practical feature is the cutting width adjustment on the front. We would buy the machine at any time. We can not say anything yet about durability.
