Over 20 years we have had a Krupp electric knife. We have not often used it, often only lately for cutting bread. Everything went Prima until the motor burned out. Can happen after a long time. By nevertheless overwhelmingly positive assessments I decided for the Severin knife. As usual, delivered quickly, I tried it on a just-baked bread. Only through extreme pressure, it was possible to cut through the bread. My old went by like butter. Since my wife does not have such power, she has not managed to cut a slice. What is one with such a knife when every normal bread knife is much easier. I can not recommend it.
