=== === Positive
1. Overall, all of the side Nokia: (! Sharp bright, razor, despite low resolution) The phone itself, the quality of workmanship, the display optics of the phone, battery, expandable memory, everything. The support for developers and documentation of Nokia is commendable. Nokia has done a good job!
2. The look and feel of Windows Phone 8: Beautifully simple, fast (despite the lack of high-end hardware), most runs smoothly. Tidy beautiful, clear settings. A cell phone that could even use my mother. This is the biggest selling point.
3. The Browser: This is possibly somewhat subjective, but overall can be the browser in my opinion much better serve than any browser on Android.
4. AutoCorrect: This must be emphasized because the typing with the phone is just awesome. The AutoCorrect makes my tap at least twice as fast and seems almost magical to me.
5. The app system. I can think of no better term to the quick. All apps have the same design (or should it have) and the system thus acts as a unified whole. There are several standard user input elements to which you get used to quickly. So any app acts like a part of the system.
6. Updates are played directly over-the-air to the device and are also reliable promptly
7. Nokia provides many good apps and also good after often where Microsoft has failed.
8. HERE Maps from Nokia: Maps can be downloaded directly and be made available offline
9. Nokia Music: Many nice radio station. The tracks can be downloaded directly.
10. Apps under the label of "Bing": Finance, News, Sports, Weather (English names) are very good and show what you can get out of WP8

##### EDIT from 09/03/2014: Some of the things (described below) are resolved or have changed. For this read the course of the discussion! #####
=== === Negative
- Missing Features: I can not understand why. Microsoft has "forgotten" some BASIC functions. What most upset me:
1. Automatically rotate the screen does not turn off
2. The calendar offers no week view, which is the default view for me. There is a monthly view, where you can not reveal dates, and an "Agenda" list with which I however can not operate.
3. No quick access to functions such as WiFi, GPS, etc. It is also impossible between "completely silent" and "vibration and sound" switch, without going into the ring tone settings. Ie every night and every morning rumklicken in the settings.
4. Notifications: No way, sounds for notifications (reminders, WhatsApp, etc.) set.
5. Browser can not store passwords
6. With the camera, the resolution can not be adjusted, unlike Android, eg 3.2 instead of 6 Megapixel
7. The synchronization of images from SkyDrive can not be switched off. Under "Photo" always all SkyDrive albums appears
8. There is no way to be notified of e-mails that arrive in Outlook.com with a rule in a folder
9. No VPN (not relevant for me, I want to perform yet)
10. Nativ no way to set the alarm volume or to be slowly louder the alarm
11. There is only one volume. This is both for music, as well as ringtones, notifications and key tones.
- Errors, bugs, quirks:
1. The mobile phone switches itself off and simply and is "dead". In 3 months about 4 times happens.
2. The store has stopped Notify me of updates. I have all the Apps Search manually in the store, and there see if there is an update. This problem is known in MS and there are entries from 2011 to complain about. Until today there is no fix, some "work-arounds" of forums does not help.
3. The "Other" memory problem: There is a memory which is shown as "Other" in the system. This land data of apps, there is a kind of cache. Problem: The memory can not be empty and running full time. The problem has been known for ages and will simply not be resolved by MS.
- Apps: Even third-party apps are part of the ecosystem of Windows Phone, so it must also feed into the review.
1. It still lacks some apps, such as Feedly
2. Many existing apps are implemented cruel. The official (!) YouTube app is currently a link to the mobile site. For weeks is there that work is underway (Yes, folks, "but Google's fault!". The interested no Max Mustermann users). The notifications of the official Ellen (!) Facebook apps do not work, even though this app is marked as "final".
3. WhatsApp: Went long just fine, then about 2 weeks, not (alerts not arrived, came twice to hours later). After nearly 5 months then came an update, now it is going well. Send video is not possible (limitations of Microsoft).
- Camera: Especially Lumia 720. Considering that it is a camera phone, do not skin around it. Some pictures out of me in black t-shirt look as if there is a hole in the image, which is full of lines. But overall okay.

=== === Conclusion
The biggest problem is that 1. many quirks exist, 2. many features missing and 3rd pages of MS nothing is done. Microsoft is just unbelievable lame. When you consider how much coal is apparently put in Marketing (television advertising, billboards) and how often Microsoft stresses the importance of them is for Windows Phone's market position, one wonders why not more coal stuck in development. There are now a GDR2 update that but none of the problems mentioned above fixes or adds the missing features. The problems are partly severe (suddenly no update notifications in the store more - known problem with MS), and so incredibly important apps so poorly implemented. The missing features should rectify for as a software company but not be so hard, especially since these features partially already in Windows Mobile (!!) were present.
- Why won 4 stars? I am convinced that Windows Phone is the potentially best smartphone operating system (for users, but also for developers), if these errors are corrected and the system finally developed times. As it can look, now some great apps like all already show under the label of "Bing". I suspect that the system will be sadly mature until spring 2014, with Windows Phone 8.1. WP8 is in my eyes as Android prior to version 4 Banana goods - it matures at the customer. In addition, Nokia has earned full 5 stars for everything: hardware, commitment Apps.
The 720 has my Android replaced, and makes it quite well. One must emphasize that I was with Android v1.5 since there, so I know the feeling already to work with a system that is yet to improve. And I am therefore certain extent capable of suffering. I would recommend anyone to switch from Android that does not feel the urge to have to adjust anything, but would like to have a fast system all of a piece and feel like that his phone will be the best soon;)
