They presented to her said second studio album "Roots To Grow" 14 songs that represent a mix of pop, rock, soul and funk - who knows the master plan, will say: "Oh, nothing new!", But that is not nearly as ; "Roots To Grow" sounds more mature, is self-contained and more mature than its predecessor.
Among the individual songs:
"Bag it up" is the funky opener of the album, and goes directly to the legs, after which "No One" as first single strikes shallower tones - a typical summer-sun-feel-good song. This is followed by "Bet That I'm better" what my current favorite on "Roots to Grow" is - funky, aggressive, yet melodic. With "How does it feel" Stefanie Heinzmann is the first ballad, somehow it sounds like a song from a musical and singing about a separation in our hearts. "Unbreakable" sprayed then back your good mood - she tells of a perfect pair of lovers who are simply unbreakable. Because listening is really fun. With "World on Fire" is the first time's right funktig - Stefanie must be behind a James Brown absolutely not hide - really great. Next song "Love Fever" remains in the funky corner; she sings with a passionate rowdiness! The titular track for the album "Roots To Grow" To be honest, is the only song that is not absolutely like me - to raggylastig and kinda boring - walked me while listening to fast on my nerves. "There's a Reason" begins with a rocky core and brings me quickly out of boredom back: Great up-tempo number with a great chorus. "No Substitute" is a quiet radio song, in which dominates Stefanie's voice. By contrast, "Stop" again fast-paced, outrageous funk pop and again: so wonderful snotty, whereupon "How things change" really quiet sounds can be heard. She looks almost frail and shy (with a great text). "I do not know how to hurt you" starts shallow and then develops into a radio-Raggy song.
The album-closing song "Wasting My Time" is then again cheerful and good mood.
Except for the song "Roots to Grow" the album is a well designed, great facility arranged and funky-pop-rocking album, which acts as a very good successor of "master plan".
I hope Stefanie Heinzmann his long active in the music business "must" and we can still enchant you with many such great albums.
