First the positive: It is a modern machine with good energy values and appealing programs. Have due to the many positive reviews and the good price / performance ratio we have struck here.
Here you have to know that Siemens manufacturer of the machine is not, but that these are manufactured by BSH Home Appliances (the factory in Germany was closed years ago) and then with the label "Siemens", "Bosch", "Constructa", " Neff "etc are labeled. A Siemens machine is therefore not a Siemens machine.
The problem of our machine:
You can not tolerate many detergents places. They foamed and suggests the rinse and may - despite massive underdosing of detergent - do not get rid of the foam etc.. Partially were 5 !! manual wash cycles needed until the machine indicated no overdose and finally hurled. Often (when we were not there and then wanted to take out the final wash) was the laundry just soaking wet and full of detergent in the drum. We had twice as a technician by BSH. This was super motivated, knowledgeable, etc., has the error but can not fix the bottom line. In his opinion, we dosed too high or take the wrong detergent.
We have a second small whirlpool machine that we bought used for 100 on ebay. This washes easily and comes with each washing cope. This small top loaders we can equip with 80ml detergent and the laundry is clean and fresh and fragrant from the machine. (However, it has only 5kg content). The Siemens 7kg comes when fully charged can not cope with 70ml. (Washing of LIDL).
The machine was thus of no use for us. I then complained by phone at Amazon and I was promised a pick-up and immediate refund of the purchase price for the 11/08/2014. That's service! The next machine is already ordered on Amazon. AEG LAVAMAT. This is somewhere 60 cheaper, but the service I will cost me.
Can I recommend the Siemens iQ300? No, unfortunately not.
