Use the lamp mainly for jogging and when I'm on the road, such as tents or in Ho (s) tel.
+ Very bright spot light with pleasant cone. The center has a bright and a somewhat darker Außenbereicht, just the right width and distribution, so that when jogging and cycling the field of view is illuminated.
+ Pleasant Wide light enough when they go camping, to rummage in the dark to cook, to read, in the pocket or to run to the toilet. But dark or at least diffuse enough that it does not dazzle other - have told me it anyway.
+ Dimming function has a good setting and is easy to use
+ Light angle from straight ahead to 90 ° downwards (stages are small enough).
+ Sits good, also holds a little bit of rain (was jogging in the drizzle)
+ Batteries easy to replace, yet the battery is not in use.
- Auto-Dimming is superfluous to my mind. It only switches between very bright and very dark around at about 50-75cm distance. Especially annoying when you grab bag in the dark or cooking wants, where something looks ever further away, and sometimes comes back under the 50-75cm. Unfortunately Auto Dimming after switching default at first.
Conclusion: The car-Dimming is not so bad that I wanted to return the lamp again. Would I now want to buy a headlamp again - it would definitely go back a de.power but the 801er model without auto-dimming.
