Unless equip a heavy wooden tripod, all tripod vibrate, although much progress has been made on this point (see testing on dpreview.com site). If you use long lenses and you can program a delay between the trigger (under the mirror) and shooting you will see a visible improvement even with one second delay. Carbon tripods vibrate less but are much more expensive and for focal below 200mm, they are not essential. Try not exceed half of the maximum load and if you want to reduce vibrations, avoid mounting the center column.
I think the Manfrotto products have a good quality / price ratio and good reliability in normal use. The flash offers or promotions allow to have even more affordable price.
