The light is cold and white, but also at night perfectly okay.
We have the light positioned so that it is slightly below a cabinet and therefore has the floor illuminated very indirectly. So it was at night no longer necessary to turn a lamp on the way down the long corridor. All kinds of obstacles could now see - perfect.
I have the device now one month in use and the battery is all. The light is then weaker, but really only occurs at the end of battery life - so do not ever directly after commissioning.
One reason for the short duration - 50 hours operation are indeed stated - is that the sensor in our pretty dark hallway during the day always concerns. This was not just because of the position under the cabinet (who has read well, this is indeed suspect). The hallway gets only light through the glass element of the door and the adjacent doors of the rooms. Unfortunately, this is not enough for the sensor so that it even during the day always starts.
Here is a regulation of the sensitivity would be very desirable.
For me personally are actually 2 star deduction. Follow-up costs through batteries one must reckon so, what the competitive price into perspective somewhat.
But those who have the light positioned on lighter thus ensure no problems - perhaps only annoyed about tackling early in the evening - which would mean only one star deduction.
