The "active Holthaus First Aid Kit" is one of the cheapest deals on the market and fits well into the Wanderer or trekking luggage. The equipment with bandages, dressings, plasters, scissors, triangle cloth and disposable gloves is sufficient for the small emergency, in addition there is enough space in the pack to still accommodate a strip painkillers and charcoal tablets or a rescue blanket. The package itself is robust, but unfortunately a simple nylon zipper without underlaid sealing strip: so moisture penetrates unfortunately rather quickly inside. In addition, the zipper is pulled only one side: so is the removal of material from the pocket quite fiddly. It would be advisable for future versions to extend the zipper and pull through 2 or 3 pages.
