The Model HB5001 is supplied in a smart black glossy cardboard. In addition to the Hub include a power cord and a USB cable supplied. On an instruction is omitted. This one does not need to, because the cables are only connected and the device is ready for use.
The stroke is about 12.5cm long, 6.3cm wide and extremely light. With its modern look and the typical black / silver design it falls next to the work on barely. Both cables are extremely long and see the quality. On the top of the stroke is the power switch. Front are the 4 USB ports. There are on the side of a 5V 2.1 charging port for charging smartphones, tablets and co. can be used.
When the unit is turned on, the Power switch is illuminated in a blue tone. Once devices are connected to the hub, light above the USB port yellow warning lights. The Hub is compatible with Windows XP / Vista / 7/8 and Mac OS X.
Currently I use the 3.0 Hub only on my laptop. Especially when I'm traveling, my machine makes work easier. I invite more often on a smartphone, external battery or an MP3 player. Mainly, however, I have sticks and connect an external hard drive to the front USB ports. The Trandferrate I'm really pleased. Access is always quick and easy. Larger amounts of data can be quickly and without hook of a transfer to another device or laptop.
The USB port with charging function Inateck is worth the money.
Highly recommended!
