Now I'll probably to star Deuter ;-) I have (not Amazon) ordered from B-Ware a A70. This arrived already broken and would not turn on. But he made an otherwise extremely solid and well-made impression.
So have I now a A50 are here. (I have to give back because that is contrary to previous statements a70 but repaired - and I must say, I'm very excited.) Now to the A50.
I was skeptical at first and knew a number of statements and descriptions of the sound quality in the Net. The 50 is processed much easier compared to the 70, but nowhere near bad.
The reason for the initial purchase was some dissatisfaction with my old amplifier (25 years old) I suspected age-related degradation and consequent loss of sound. A direct comparing two with a brand new Creek in Hörstudio revealed: the is not so. Nevertheless, I began to experiment with the Pioneer. Original of Vekäufers in Hörstudio when I told him my plan: "How long eighth Japanese on sound quality" Well, I just let uncommented.
I run the Pioneer now with a Raumfeld Connector vonTeufel as a source to which a Festpaltte connected with thousands of FLAC files.
At the beginning I have a permanent noise heard how it was to read sometimes the Internet. But this has subsided after two days break-in period and is now heard neither distance nor directly on the speaker.
I have used the tuner input.
Equaliser and balance to zero, press Direct button. Slightly more detailed and more voluminous than without.
Pressed In this position, not Direct but the loudness button. Beautiful volumes more content basses better developed and what amazed me as the actual loudness haters, no loss of detail. This is really fun! And so much that I have drawn no comparison to my old amplifier. The phono stage still had to play. But that will come the day. Then I'm going nachberichten and perhaps then still the star Deuter fifth star ;-)
Heard: Dean Magraw Jeanne Darc Heavy meadow, Chris Rea Gone Fishing, Hans Thessink Terry Evans Birthday Bash Built For Comfort LiveCD, Beady Belle Home Ghosts, Naim Antonio Forcione Visions Meet Me In London & Brasilico, Marc Breitfelder & Georg Schroeter, div . Classical etc ...
So far: Have fun, nice detail resolution. With some of the above musicians I had contact at concerts in small group (max. 100 visitors) played via the A50, there was a very high recognition value. There was nothing to complain about, so far.
Even I can not understand the sound described. What I hear are just the click of switching the relay on connection and a lighter tone in the amplifier when I hang up the ear. Most probably to describe a shallow quiet Summbrummen. But really only perceive in almost direct ear contact with the casing.
However, should it be in the many different reviews to serial dispersion, it would be independent of any judgment not a good picture for the Pioneer. (Has that got anything to do with Made in China?)
That's it for now. If I had not been this Maleur with the A70 and this is not the converter and in addition to provide MC, I would keep the A50.
Supplement and the fifth star for this amplifier:
As described above, I have found no noise or any other noise to the very end. Exception the minimum summbrumm well the sound is clean and expressive detail. One difference from my old amplifier is only to make out in the timbre. I can not say that one or the other amplifiers more or less detail maps. Overall, the Pioneer makes but a little more fun.
The service is very good and the device mimmt the Befehler the remote control to clean and right. The buttons may be designed slightly larger and the lettering is also not particularly clear. So who needs reading glasses, put! Otherwise, the FB is made dibasic.
I tested last the sound through the MM phono input. What can I say, here too sound blameless beautiful details and no significant difference to my Linn Intek, which has particularly surprised me - but really, after reading the hifiaktiv - pages rather not astonishment, but follow correct result?
Waiting now on the A70 with its additional options. Hopefully he is noise and störtonfrei. Allen, who do not require the advanced features of the A70, the A50 is recommended with its clean processing highly. Maybe, but I would take him for ease of use but rather in silver.
