Customer Review

I do not want to say so much to the plate. Sauschnell just as expected. Windows 7/64 starts in 20 seconds. What else can you say ...

To migrate the existing Sytems:
Who called Windows 7 his own, but needs around migration hardly worry. This whole Zusatzprogrämmchen that will be addressed here, and also the ghost that accompanies the disc does not work in the one and the other flat.

I have made the migration to twice the SSD (Samsung) with System Restore in Windows 7 after my OCZ Vertex2 broke down after less than 1 year ("Damaged Sectors"). The Win7 System Restore is very simple, very reliable and done in an afternoon. Most of the time it used to staring at a progress bar. After that there is a "finished" and that's it.

Most people know the procedure but for everyone else it may be mentioned here again:

. 1
Under Control Panel \ System and Security \ Backup and Restore, there is the program "create system repair disc". Take a blank DVD and am running this program. In order to be able to invite Win7 system after a crash if you have considered the DVD drive in the boot order in the BIOS. If not do not, then during power-up (or experiment), simply press F8 while until all of the drives displayed. Select DVD drive and go to the "support system".

. 2
Also Security \ Backup and Restore Center to find "Create a system image". For this purpose it is best to an external hard drive is on the sufficient space to accommodate the entire system. One should avoid large files such as movies and mitzusichern similar. Stuff like that one can simply by copy wegsichern earlier times. Otherwise, the backups are in accordance with (unnecessary) large.

. 3
Now, if the system generally or hard drive in particular is in the bucket or you just want to move to a bigger SSD, installed to the new hard disk in the same SATA port as the old one. Another port is not working, then complains System Restore! (After the system recovery you can hang the new album where you want to. I have moved, for example with the new Samsung 3G to 6G. They can, yes!).

. 4
Now you put the DVD into the drive and created under 1. Create System Restore (if necessary as mentioned above F8).
It can be important, the mouse and keyboard directly to the PC are angschlossen. Hanging any hubs in between, the periphery may not be recognized (was with me so).

Now you start System Restore. The current under 2. created backup files are automatically suggested.

Attention: The system restore disk format and partition all concerned as they were before the backup. This means that if you move to a larger SSD, then there is a partition is created, the size as the old SSD. But that's not bad. More on that later.

Press OK button

5. Get coffee

6. Wait

7. Progress bar staring ...

. 8
At some point, the system is ready and can be started as usual.

. 9
If one wants to change the SATA connector, you can now make the (of course after the computer is shut down ...).
For safety's sake you can now again correct the boot order in the BIOS. The new drive should have been entered there automatically.

10th
On the new larger disk there is now a not yet assigned partition. This area can be but assign any problems with the Disk Management of Win 7 of the small system partition. To do this go to Control Panel \ System and Security in the Disk Management program. The mouse to C:, press the right mouse button and "Volume zoom" button and simply confirm everything. Partition the entire size of the SSD: Then has the C. The funzt everything on the fly and without dubious additional software.

11th
Well, nu 'is' done. Old plate in the trash if it was broken.

12th
Otherwise, if they still funzt, it may be that it is now listed as "offline" in the Disk Management tool. This, in turn, let also the right mouse button do: Simply press "online".

. 13
Now you have 2 identical Windows systems 2 connected hard drives. If you start now on F8 again the old, it comes to a SYSTEM CRASH because identical signatures !!! Why should the old FP, because they still work, are formatted in Disk Management. Alternatively, in the trash, if defective.

Hope to have helped.
