The sponges are very fine pores, so they can absorb enough polish and it spreads easily and economically.
I use it not only for polishing, but also for the Meguiars Wax. Since 2 pieces are received in a set, I have a pad for polishing and waxing for `each.
If the sponges it out to be dirty, you can wash them at 40 degrees without problems.
For longevity, I can say that I have determined that my car had 5 times treated and once I have delivered them into the washing machine. You do not look as good as new, but have so far only one, two very fine cracks.
So over two summers to get so determined!
An important tip for last: the means used always rinse immediately after the cleaning, and later it's all clean with machine wash!
