Currently I use the hub to a Windows laptop when traveling. Most are actually all 4 ports in use. Among the connected devices is an external 3.0 hard drive. In addition, I have always attached a USB cable for my smartphone. Here it is less about the store, but rather to continuously back up data such as photos, videos, etc. by backup on the laptop to me. Of course, all 4 ports can be used simultaneously. Access is fast. I am very satisfied.
Very timely, the stroke already has USB 3.0 and therefore has a greater data rate (up to 5Gbps) as previous models with USB 2.0. The device is of course backwards compatible, meaning that it works well on a computer with USB 2.0, only at the moment just does not come to the larger data rate.
The ports are close together. Nevertheless, to get to each port ran well without a neighboring device in the way. All ports are precisely, neither too large nor too tight.
All in all, was able to convince with its aluminum enclosure, the Hub!
