It provides one or two times any one - of nearly 100 hours to 1 second - starts the countdown and it counts down.
Once the time has expired will be indicated by a red flashing light or by an acoustic signal (this can be selected in two volumes or switch off completely) noted!
The countdown continues to run - as a count-up, so you can see how much time has passed since the set time!
In itself perfect - exactly what I wanted!
Unfortunately, the timer will flash as long as the countdown has not yet expired every few seconds green - and that can not be turned off you - and the flashing green light is felt 3 times stronger than red - that stands out literally when one looks into it directly into the eyes.
Thus, the timer for me is unfortunately useless and he goes back.
Too bad - apart from really a top product:
- Needs two ordinary AAA batteries not button cells.
- Has (although that is perhaps undersized) and a fold out table stand and a fold-eye to screw to the wall both magnetic holder.
- Is well made and the numbers on the display are properly fed and readable from any angle.
