Tower fan - super price / performance ratio

Because it is precisely these days pretty hot / was, I decided to order this tower fan. As usual, Amazon he was there within 24 hours. The "assembly" is straight forward. The power cord is passed between the two-tier stand, the two halves then fitted together and fixed with screws - done. The only thing that is required from the domestic inventory tool for this is a Phillips screwdriver.

Despite the relatively low price, which is rather low in price for such devices, I was pleasantly surprised, because the fan makes a very well-made impression. It rattles nothing, no part is loose o. Ä. But the most important, it ensures orderly "wind" and is fairly quiet. Even at level 3 - it is heard then indeed already clear - I feel the fan is not too loud. The strength of the individual power levels has been well chosen. Level 1 is barely audible and provides a "light breeze". Stage 2 is a bit more powerful and has a moderate breeze. At Level 3, the fan gets audible very noticeable - and I said this as not yet emfpinde disturbing - and you have a very strong draft. Mostly, however, the operation is quite sufficient at level 2. At the request of the fan by pressing a button to swing back and forth and therefore distribute the air better in a range of 60 °. Who lives under the roof, suffers in the summer probably the most under the heat at night hardly decreases. As it is obvious, perhaps to let the fan once through the night. Suitable for this purpose is but I think only Level 1, since it is very quiet. Anything else would be disturbing. Moreover, it makes in relation to the volume no difference whether the ventilator in the swivel mode or not.
The good 1.8m long power cord should in most cases be sufficient to achieve without additional extension cable an electrical outlet, even if it m. M. to would like to have a little longer allowed to be.

Of course you can from such a device does not expect that there is a space clearly "cools down", after all, it's no air conditioner, but it is in the heat alone by the produced by the fan airflow much more comfortable in the room, so you at least a little " cooling effect ".
