A picture book that works very well with us.

My son is just starting to talk to two and a half years and this beautiful picture book it is a great help for learning new words. A very well done book that scans all the themes dear to the smallest as animals, household objects, nature or transport. Each double page has a different theme and shows on one side a drawing representing Babar and his family situation in the theme (eg Babar diver in the page dedicated to marine animals) and across four images representing 4 words the topic in question (eg a seahorse, a lobster, a dolphin and a fish to the same page of marine animals).
In all 80 words to discover or revise for the little ones who are learning to speak. Everything is very nicely illustrated. The pages are laminated, it's a shame. Only the cover is washable. However this is a book that worked very well with my oldest daughter and works as much with my younger son so I can only recommend.
