I was looking for a clock at least 10bar pressure endures and runs without batteries and is robust. Automatic watches were too cumbersome, I quickly became aware of the eco drive watches from Citizen. The Promaster watches fulfill my desires, up to 20bar waterproof, never needs a battery and radio reception. I liked appearance to the AS4050-51E that AS 2031-57E and AS4030-59E. I decided ultimately for the latter. The AS4050 was me from the dial was confusing the AS2031 no chronograph but slightly thinner and lighter.
From the appearance and functions of the AS4030-59E remained that fulfilled my wishes. Men can wear this clock in everyday life as well as to suit, just the size of 43mm and height of ca.15mm have deterred me from my purchase something. On the wrist, the clock can not be overlooked, but through the use of titanium, it is very comfortable weight. The clock weighs 118 grams, I have 3 members away, now it weighs 110gramm. It is probably currently fashionable to wear large watches.
I am very pleased with the clock. The clock looks for my taste very chic, go seconds exactly (how could it be otherwise in a radio clock), has a perpetual calendar. The dual time was also an important reason why I decided for this clock, the alarm and timing are functions that are nice but playing for my needs no roles.
The dial is very clear. The pointers are beautifully illuminated. But as it is written in other reviews, they do not shine through the night, after 1.5 - 2 hours, you can no longer recognize the pointer.
I also have small criticisms which I like not so good, the sapphire glass is not quite reflective, and is slightly curved by the form, was neither in the article description still on the homepage of Citizen. The curvature a magnifying effect is achieved if one side but (pretty side) looks at the clock, the clock face is shown distorted, this is not a limitation but is just getting used to.
This Citizen clock receives only the German radio signal, in this price range I would have expected and the receipt of other radio signals. I give the clock for the small criticisms which are more a matter of taste 4 stars and can also recommend this clock.
Addendum:
I need to improve my review because the luminous hands actually light up the night. While the hands glow faintly but the time can be read without problems. (Had my clock previously mostly stored on the sideboard in the bedroom of 1.5 m distance were the pointer can no longer be read, on the arm or in the immediate vicinity, you can read the time).
