I was amazed at how easy was the establishment. In my case I use the repeater as extend the range of my Fritzbox 7390th
1. Repeater near the Fritz box plugged into outlet.
2. Using Tablet (iPad) connection is established to the repeater. There were immediately shown both frequency ranges (2.4 and 5 GHz).
3. Web browser on tablet started, who had immediately shown the user interface of the repeater.
4. Both selected frequency range of the Fritz box and connected.
5. repeaters placed in another room in outlet. It is important that even receiving the Fritz box with at least 1-2 bar is available here.
6. Registered iPad Repeater (first 2.4 then 5 Ghz)
7. Speed test performed. Worked perfectly.
Before that I had there absolutely no way to establish a connection wifi. The repeater of AVM had failed here miserably.
My guess is that the reception of the signal of the Fritz box is significantly better by the external antenna.
Therefore strong buy recommendation.
