-Design (The glossy black player / amplifier however is a dust collector and easily scratched. The boxes are up on the top of the subwoofer matt black)
Cons:
- When delivered, there were at delivery of multichannel audio via the Audio Return Channel (return channel from the TV) partly 20 seconds no sound when when switching the Dolby variant (5.1 2.1) will change or will return to PCM. Sometimes you had to continue and again before (eventually) the sound was too fortuitous. In the meantime, a firmware update has been released, with these wait times were significantly reduced when switching.
- Silent Music / TV enjoyment is marred by the partially annoying fan. He turns when starting up briefly (about 40 dB) and is then quiet for a while. After about a half hour operation he puts then off again. To make matters worse, the fan had with me now (after almost half a year) even an imbalance. In the FAQ and forums we read that the devil noise dismisses as "normal". Since this is a standard 12 Volt fan (50x50x15 mm), I now have a less than half as loud (about 23 dB) ordered replacement fan in PC demand, I will install decoupled. The ventilation concept is a total of significantly improved.
- If one changes the TV input to the Impaq, the player always returns to the main menu. When using a feeding device (eg Mediacenter) one must therefore go repeatedly to the correct HDMI input.
- Even if the whining at a high level is: I would like to turn on with one keystroke without the radio remote control. Since I mainly watch TV (ARC input), I need to hear by turn seven inputs (after switching on) the radio. At least with the remote control you need only two buttons to start the radio.
