... Not really practical!

Thus the advantages are as well exhausted in my eyes:

So the camera's wrist strap should be put in above case. This is not only fiddly but also really stupid if you want to take out the camera again - you can not pull the strap when she's under the camera so.
- With the additional closure flap over the zipper, the case can be closed / opened without each time to use the zipper. Actually, practically, but not trustworthy, because the magnetic stud rarely immediately takes its position and locks.

Conclusion: not really thought out and not really practical. Rather for the handbag as for the belt.
