Of connections there are Ethernet, 4xUSB, SD card reader, HDMI, A / V OUT and SPDIF. This connectivity I found very positive. Since the device
WLAN dominated, I did not test the network connection.
The manual is in English only and represents mainly the various menus and installed apps shortly before, so it is of limited help. Without further Android-knowledge I would have been in a fix at the wireless device if necessary.
After commissioning of three different surfaces to choose from, which can also be called directly after the system start:
Android desktop, 3D View menu and XBMC. XBMC that comes pre-installed, I found very pleasing. Unfortunately I have not managed it yet, einzuspielen XBMC extensions. Use of the basic functions and the access to the existing LAN media collection
but was no problem.
The included remote control is pretty clunky and makes a cheap impression. Thus, the rubber keys feel at a bit spongy. The
Operation of the surface by means of remote control is possible, but sometimes a bit cumbersome.
An infected Logitech K400r was recognized straight away, however, with English keyboard layout. This can be switched safely somewhere, but this was in my tests not necessary because the operation with keyboard and touchpad is possible.
Playback problems I've not found XBMC plays almost everything from harmless.
Overall, very well as a media center suitable for the pre-installed XBMC, but set some hakelig in some places or to operate. Why only 4 stars.
