Compared to its predecessor, which has a 6-inch display, the G Flex 2 has a much more handy and somewhat square, but also noble.
A major weakness of its predecessor was in my eyes the display resolution of 1280 × 720 on a 6-inch screen distributed, where you could see in the dark areas / at shades of gray a very strong noise and it felt very roughly represented.
This here now dissolves Thankfully in Full HD and has a sharp, detailed and bright. The colors and contrasts are displayed very natural. Otherwise, there are no noticeable delays, everything was going according to instantly and quickly without noticeable pauses or stuttering.
Through the curved design the phone is very good and ergonomically in the hand and on the ear when making calls, also the microphone is placed closer to the mouth, which determines a better understanding quality allows the phone.
The main camera dissolves as the G3 with 13 megapixels. The camera's menu as well as in the G3 will have a lot of Spartan since Lolli Pop update, many MODIS were removed, settings such as ISO and other image adjustments no longer exist. In video mode, some settings have disappeared, such as the selection of Full HD 60 in P ...
Compared with the G3, the photos look pretty much the same, albeit with a little more contrast.
The videos in Full HD or 4K look very good with good sharpness good color and a reasonably good image stabilizer but not as effectively operates as the Galaxy Note 4 or the iPhone 6 Plus.
The front camera will remain at 2.1 megapixels and is making good but not overwhelming photos, here would LG can calm a bit reloading unlike its competitors.
Software default owns this phone pretty much every possible function for communication such as NFC, LTE CAT 6 with up to 300 Mbit / s, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 AC and much more. Not even so much bloatware is inherently installed as is the case with many other competitors.
The battery is compared to the previous 500 mAh small, holds intensive use ie 30-40 WhatsApp messages, automatic synchronization, display brightness at 30/40%, about 1-2 hours to surf the internet, watch videos on YouTube and 2-3 about 1 hour calling almost all the day through (in the morning at 6:30 clock to about 21:00 clock remaining charge of about 20%). What I really like is the quick charge function that has the phone in half an hour really almost up to 50% fully charged. The LG G Flex still remains due to the even lower resolution but the leaders what endurance is concerned, because under the same conditions I order the evening, more than 50% battery had.
During a telephone conversation on landline side I understand my interlocutor very clear, sufficiently loud and well understandable, also a background noise I could not tell. In Mobile site ambient noise well suppressed, a slight noise is to be noted, however, do not interfere, the interlocutors are always loud and clear to understand. The reception (in my T-Mobile) is very strong and better than its predecessor, however, equally well with the G3.
The G Flex 2 appears to be a happy medium between the LG G3 with (in my eyes) somewhat poorer energy management and the LG G Flex with something gross display resolution / size.
The display resolution with Full HD just fine and is also considerably gentler battery.
If the camera would have quietly may be a few more features, and the front camera would tolerate a few more megapixels.
