As technology "Freak" I'm already gone through several phones / smartphones!
Of the old clunky Nokia with green illuminated display (then had the green in 2110, E-Plus, later the 3310, 5110, 6100, 6600, E51, etc ..) to my current SGS4.
In between there were AEG, Siemens, Motorola, Sony Ericson, and then with Android HTC, Huawei and Samsung models (including SGSS1 & SGS2).
Apple I never had any interest.
Nevertheless, I would claim, since I use mobile phones the last 20 years, also be able to represent a fairly good opinion here.
As I said, I do not want big deal with the telephone function, since I do not use them.
Nonetheless, it should be mentioned that there is certainly quite a good entry-level smartphone, in my experience so far with the E1, with minor restrictions, and the operation.
Possibly is having to lie down for what the kids or as working Zweithandy without several hundred EUR.
Due to the not so good displays I personally would advise against use the device if you generally little trouble with the eyes hat.Kleine fonts can be read a little difficult.
So if you thinks about Grandma and Grandpa to make ne joy and with this phone in the smartphone era to promote, rather thinks again after, and give quiet some extra cash from.
Grandma and Grandpa are all worth it !!
Because clear smears (in direct comparison with higher-priced smartphones this model year) are to be made at the display.
It is Pixelate and difficult to read unless you look directly from top. In the sun I could not test it (Currently (January) is the sun not so lush available ....)
It's a bit choppy, not immediately reacts to every touch, sometimes you have to press 2 or 3 times.
May be, that I am here just spoiled by the speed of my S4, I already expected the reaction of the mobile phone, it still "works" that you can run. So I press the same again, and again ... :-)
By tachos GPS, the use as a convenient navigation system would be possible.
Otherwise, I can say a lot is offered for the price range.
WIFI, BT-4, GPS, Android 4.2, 1GHz dual-core, (allegedly) to 400H. Standby (will be shown)
Other clear advantages in my opinion, the 2 SIM slots, the expandability of the memory via MicroSD and the replaceable battery.
Missing Flash or "only" 3MP camera are now not so great, but I need eh mp3 not for NEN Player.
Now down to business, and that was my long search for a MP3 player of my features
- A maximum of 75 EUR
- Wifi
> I want to access my NAS and data can be directly loaded onto the MP3 player. Copy No annoying Connecting to the computer and data Map / Player
> I would also like to stream music directly (ie regain access to NAS or cloud) and this music via BT or jack also if necessary pass them on to the system
> Possibly when needed mp3 tracks tag which are not entirely correct in my folders
-Bluetooth
> As mentioned, music sometimes pass on my Soundbar without the clutter
- Android
> I want to download apps from the store to access my NAS can, and possibly different media to use players, etc., since I feel as good Android platform with many useful tools.
- Timer function
> This has been made a few mp3 player from home, thus also helps here again the App Store and various apps Timer
Now if you so shop around for "mp3 player with WIFI" Apple is usually the first place with its (in my opinion) overpriced devices, or, for example Samsung with its Galaxy S WiFi.
Both, however, far away from 75EUR brand.
So I thought, why not a "cheap" smartphone with the necessary functions, like no matter how bad his display, processor, or even feel.
After some searching and reading the cheapest alternative was for me the Cynus E1 (in white) for currently 52EUR
So ordered Monday and Wednesday delivered (after 2 days) (from Poland).
Unwrapped ... and more is needed.
Power supply without cable (which I like).
Separate USB cable
Accumulator
Headphones (the hike but equal in the bin because they act extremely cheap) that was me but from the outset clear
Manual (unnecessarily as an old hare Android, so waste paper)
Appearance is quite high and can not assume the reasonable price right away.
The battery cover is thin plastic, much the same as with my S4. Again, a little fiddly to remove, and you always have some fear to break it.
The cover is slightly serrated, which makes it quite handy. I like it.
It is even quite easy with the battery.
I could (volume / on / off switch) find a good pressure point for me at the keys, and it was at this press, as well as the test way "twisting" to hear the phone no creaking.
That was all in the box, more is needed, too.
Initial start-up:
Battery pure, turned on (battery was summoned with around 60%) still ran to the charger.
Setting on DE
Setting WIFI
After Google Account and PlayStore and Amazon App Store and Amazon music (for cloud access) plan, and off you go.
after approx. 1 hour was the battery to 100%
Later came a software update. Downloaded, installed, reboot, then the battery was suddenly down to scarce 70%.
The reason is not obvious to me, but whatever. Back to power and to 100% charged.
While I set it on, continue left on the power to the battery to be back empty to noodles.
The installed launcher is OK, micht disturbed something that I could not remove separately the various screens, and on the upper bar is the Google search always visible and could not be removed.
Remedy I have created with a separate launcher.
Since there are some good are also free or reasonably priced. The you can then customize to your preferences Customize.
Is possibly the launcher pre-installed but I did not want to fiddle around as long, and because I know the replacement launcher from the FF, which was the fastest way for me.
For the functionality as mp3 player, i have following apps:
UpnPlay (to stream as a player to NAS)
ES File Explorer (to draw from NAS to the mp3 player)
Audio Tagger (to update ID3 tags of MP3 on Amazon)
Amazon Music (as a player)
Sleep Timer (to set a time after which the player un sleep mode is completed and the player app automatically)
All apps run absolutely smoothly without any lag or dropouts.
More not need it.
Now I have the Sleep Timer are to 45 minutes, and in that time I consume about 1% of the battery power.
The phone is in permanent offline mode. If necessary, WIFI is turned on to exchange data, otherwise always off.
Use it now also in the bedroom on the nightstand as an alarm clock (as it is always in the offline mode = no radiation)
What bothers some, (but that's really to get over and I was clear from the beginning) that is one is to restart your phone logically pointed out that is not inserted SIM.
This message must be off, "click" and that's it. Ultimately, it is a phone and will logically be fed as such with SIM.
I am far more than happy with my new players, and can thoroughly recommend it as such.
Possibly there are there still more music lovers who also like to hear their songs and even to sleep want to have the benefits of a smartphone (without phone calls / radiation) which do not offer discounted standard player.
As a phone, is to start this Rezi I think enough said, I recommend it with restrictions.
Hope I could help one or the other with this information at a Entschidung.
