I opted for this model, because on the one hand my money was not enough for a Diascope spotting scope this brand, I on the other hand, based on my positive experience with my smaller binoculars of the same brand, did not want to give up a good appearance.
Meanwhile, I have used the spotting scope under varying circumstances, and may give a small comment on it.
To look:
Due to the small exit pupil at maximum, 45x, magnification one gets quickly under poor lighting conditions on the boundaries of optics. In bright light, the presentation is good to very-good. The color reproduction is very good, the picture is sharp and contrasty. I would say that the range of 18-35-fold magnification with the most pleasant glass.
The glass can not compete with the scopes of the Diascope series in terms of imaging performance. I have this but not even expected.
For processing:
Very good, I like the monoblock design, ie the eyepiece firmly connected. The glass can be readily accommodate or capes in a backpack. The case is stable and yet waterproof. Since I am traveling a lot outside, these characteristics seem to me often benefit. The accommodation in my backpack for many kilometers over hill and dale has coped the glass without a murmur. High humidity and water have been left no damage.
The protecting caps serve their purpose.
To use:
With a steady hand, on a firm surface or ajar trembling free you can watch even large birds in approximately 200-250m distance to the Dialyt, even at 30x magnification. Up to about 25-fold magnification can use a monopod the spotting scope. Overall, still worth using a tripod.
When observing from a hide out is advisable, I think, a spotting scope with angled viewing and setting the focus in the eyepiece portion of the case, since the focus is adjusted on the lens Dialyt what of a seat is impractical. Prone or standing propped up on a pole, backpack o. Ä. This is not a problem as you hold the glass at the eyepiece and the objective.
You have to remember that the tripod must be large enough (because of the straight view into the glass) when standing observed.
Since the imaging performance with increasing magnification still declining (small exit pupil, dark and u. U. restless picture) provides the magnification from> 35 in my eyes no real advantage.
What I like about the variable magnification range that you can adjust the observation segment a little.
In the long run I will buy myself a proper spotting scope but overall I am absolutely happy with my decision.
