The change of our getting on in years Dyson Animal Pro with 1.400W and shorter hose, the Dirt Devil DD 5551-3 with 900W has this passed with flying colors. Very nice, elegant appearance, pleasantly quiet and an enormous suction power on the ground and on the material set with cat hair. 6m cable and a truly long and adjustable telescopic tube are really great, that even for my 1,88m size are perfectly adequate. We use the smaller brush (parquet brush where the brush can not fold) for the material set, cushions and blankets from the cats and the dog, as this is a 1 on fabric etc. 1 suction offers and you have to adjust the air regulation (with the thumb), because it is too much else. This one comes but also almost everywhere including because the brush is very low and also handy. For us, the price and the ONLY 900W motor power were "the buying decision towards a Dyson, but provides more watts in no more suction power, but this also consumes more power. One wants to or but I have to hold here that the container from Dyson for emptying is somewhat simpler designed. When Dirt Devil but only one handle longer to empty the container required. Of course you can alternatively buy a vacuum cleaner dust bag with up to 2.400W, this decision remains entirely up. The electricity supplier will be happy at any rate immensely. On cyclone vacuum cleaners are not in vain patents pending that work perfectly. By us a strong buy recommendation.
