I had in my wiring cable receiver and the Sony BDP S4100 with the AVR Denon X1000 with this cables [PSC = 1] problems. When Kabelreciever the TV just stayed black with three showing Sky HD channels, sound has been transferred. I switched over to the Blu-ray player, I was only briefly to see the boot screen, then the screen went black and the Denon has received no signal via HDMI more. Besides these, I have two more HDMI cable that I had at home, tried, and here none.
Once the cable box and the Sony have been connected with the cables directly to the TV, everything went. So looked like a HDCP handshake problem.
As a last resort, and because of the positive recessions I have two cable length ordered 1 meter and connected.
Super, everything works as it should ... the Sky HD channels to be displayed and also the home screen of Sony is finally seen on the TV. Although the cables are not very bilig, but worth the price in any case.
