When the Logitech switching on I noticed the same on a quiet noise of the boxes, which does not occur with the Edifier. (Audible from about 20cm distance from the pit, is how strongly turned the volume control depending on). The Edifier also look noble a lot because they have a black lacquered wood paneling. The Logitech made up only from plastic.
But more importantly, of course, the sound:
Here the Logitech can score with something better and louder subwoofer. But that's about the only advantage that stands out to me the Edifier. The treble and midrange sound when Edifier many times more comfortable and balanced. The Logitech contrast, are a bit flashy and the centers also scarce.
Although the bass at the Edifier is not as intrusive (which I really like), so this supply but from the better overall picture. Why I chose for the Edifier C3 and go back the Logitech again.
