With the most important first: this film course is aimed at connoisseurs and fans of "Citizen Kane". So if you have not seen Orson Welles' masterpiece from 1941, which should do beforehand necessarily. For film buffs, this film is a must in any case because it displays the "prodigy of Hollywood" in a slightly different light. Welles fights furiously for the implementation of his film debut, as if his life depended depended and thereby sets among others at the newspaper magnate William R. Hearst. He tries by all means to prevent it, the movie in the cinema. Why? Because Hearst is the template for the character of Charles Foster Kane! Hmm ... if Hearst probably a fan of Twitter or Facebook would be?
Under these circumstances, one wonders that "Citizen Kane" was not scrapped. On the other hand one also wonders how high the price of this film was ... and I do not mean the cost of production. Those who believed also to know who or what "Rosebud" is ... I tell nee nix! ;)
