Lena in top form!

Now it's finally here, the long-awaited third album by Lena Meyer-Landrut. After their first two albums all about Lena's Euro Vision Song Contest participations were in 2010 and 2011 and have been realized in collaboration with Stefan Raab, Lena went their own way this time, wrote and composed many songs with itself.

Here the result is the album "Stardust" to German stardust. The album features some of what you're used to and from the "old Lena", but also much that is new. The unmistakable Lena sound is still there, but more diverse and sophisticated than before.

There is for example the hymenenähnliche first single, which is also titled "Stardust" and should be most Lena fans already known. There are also quick feel-good songs like "Mr Arrow Key", "Bliss Bliss", "ASAP" and "Better News", in which the Lena Höhrer immediately to dance (and -Sing unless one has learned the text sometime ) stimulates.
On the other side are the slow, thoughtful, sometimes almost melancholic songs like "Goosebumps" and "To The Moon", or the wintry sounding "Day To Stay", in which one wants to sink really as a listener.
In addition, Lena is also keen to experiment, as with the song "Neon (Loneley People)", which jazz and electro elements with Lenas partially shaded by a slight echo voice mixed.

Also to be mentioned positively, both quantity and quality of the lyrics. Frequently there are verses and choruses of many verses and unusual with its distinctive voice tells Lena the listener as in a song a whole story.

All in all, Lenas album one thing: Refreshing. Lena shows that pop music has to be not only boring electric Gedudel nowadays, as felt at 99% of their peers and Kolleginen from the genre. No, Lena presents a versatile, surprising, fresh pop that certainly will not get bored. I am even inclined to assert that "Stardust" is a good deal better than Lena's previous albums. Therefore there the full five stars from me!
