When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The device was processed really neat and work did. The three slots above were a little loose so that the USB plug behaved like jelly, but they served their purpose. The USB port at the top was really tight so that a USB connector had no way to shake - so I praise me.
Yesterday, however, happened, what led me to this review. In normal operation - the laptop was on the bed and the Hub was connected next to it - he gave up the ghost. Diagnosis: The USB connector was connected to the laptop (ie the end of the USB hubs) wiggled too much. The Budget process was at fault ... that I contradict myself, but I believe.
Of course I would not get to sound such a claim without testing. I've tried all kinds of things:
1. I have the devices individually connected to the laptop ... everything works
2. I put the Hub to another USB port does not work ...
3. I put the hub to my desktop PC does not work ...
4. I have a new hub to the port plugged, where the Hama hub hung ... everything works.
My conclusion: I recommend the device further only if you only need a temporary solution. In the beginning it is working properly, but everyone who has ever used Hama products know that they have only a small lifetime. Rather give out 10 more and buys you a decent USB Hub.
I hope I could help some herewith ...
