Out of it comes a rather fascinating story that is certainly by no means brilliant, but provides the basis for an attractive radio play:
Detective Numero One Justus Jonas receives a call for help from a small mountain village. Darren asks her to come there in order to clarify a mysterious riddle. Near the village there is a body of water, which seems to the "glow" at night.
And the place itself is quite scary because it threatens to die out inexplicably more and more. Young people and even children, there is no longer there. Those who can, leave this ghostly place and thus live in "Ridge Lake" actually only the "old".
On the way there (after all, more than 700 Miles) Peter rescues the old Paul Brooks from the dam.
What's up with the reservoir about? Even though this mystery seems to be solved relatively quickly, so we need but to bring a more than risky exploration (with almost fatal outcome) of the underwater world, as well as some research by Bob different lights.
The veil is a cruel secret thins out more and more ...
A very good and densely atmospheric radio play, which I can recommend.
The perfect score.
