Javais loved the first book, a real shot in the heart and threw terribly impatient to read the second! I Navais even lappréhension usual reading that i dun following heart stroke book. No, this book would necessarily as good, I did not see other possibilities. And javais quite right (it sometimes marrive :)).
In this volume, we follow the adventures of Sam, wool Kelly brothers. Sam is no longer the same since that he returned with the other members of KGI dun stay in Mexico as part of their work. There, he met Sophie with whom he spent the best nights of his life. Except that return mission, it had completely disappeared. These five months have passed, and yet he can not seem to get her out of his head, despite the ridicule of his brothers. Until he fished the (literally) in its lake. Sophie is really exceptional. She has a notch, strength of character, a will that commands respect. It will put at his feet all those great muscles of male full doubters delle out. And especially Sam who will gradually fall madly in love with this little woman who trusts no one and whose past is more than full. It will gradually succeed to penetrate its secrets thanks to his family, and show what can have complete confidence in them. Sam is just as cute quEthan in the first volume, but in a different way. Ethan was more touching (the context was playing I think a lot too). Sam this is more the action to him, the action, and talk after (time between one puts women, children and old at the shelter to allow the muscles to do their job). Except quavec Sophie, it will not happen like that, and it'll do him good. Jai found great ambiance that prevails, the links between them, humor and mockery very present between males, muscle and sexytude, perfect alliance for us to pass dexcellents times. The action is also present with some well placed explosions but not ubiquitous either. Some fine maneuvering plot from beginning to end without dead time. The writing still great Maya Banks result leave you without a break. Moreover, it was a big surprise on the end (jy thought at one time that unless javais quickly forgotten this idea). Jai had tears in my eyes to certain passages, big crazy laughter to others, want to take Kelly in my arms to comfort them, or give them kicking buttocks to other times.
Emotions in pagailles, of the action from beginning to end, always endearing characters, in short, the second consecutive victory for Maya Banks and Milady Romance with this sequel: jadore, jadore jadore and again! Now i can not wait to read the third book planned for this summer (the series includes nine currently in VO and I hope to really, really quon have them all in French !!!).
