The new ALL 168,607 from ALLNET reached immediately via 200 Mbps, after some tweaking my home cabling I am now even at about 270-280 Mbps net, which is excellent and much faster than I expected. A 1 GB media file can be so in about 75 - 80 seconds transferred from one computer to another, that's enough safe for UHD streaming, this should be one day available.
The only problem with coax adapters in many rental apartments are the way to be less the existing cans, but most likely the floor distributors, as many apartments are now supplied not on one but on several cable strands. Are the Einspeisedosen the two adapter but on different strands, the communication between the adapters through the wiring closet is completely prevented. But these are indeed also thought finally, they effectively suppress any disturbances from one line to other lines the same floor, and thus, unfortunately, just the signals from the coax adapters under.
In a first step I had therefore replaced the 4-way splitter for our floor by a 3-way distribution, and my two strands over a simple T network directly connected. Unfortunately, such T-members have a transmission loss of about 3.5 to 4 dB, and it shows in the connection speed between the adapters somewhat. Therefore, I have in a second step, the simple T-section through a specially developed line multiplexer replaced, the over several diplexer and the switch business, the two single strands in the frequency range 2-68 MHz directly connects, but the normal TV area normally passes (insertion loss <0, 5 dB). A return filter is also integrated with, so there is no danger to users of KDG Internet from the adapters.
