Windows 8.1 is no longer trashed by and the Clean Install is tricky. We invite it after an ISO Windows 8.1 from the Microsoft homepage, USB / DVD do with it bootable. The Windows Key is BIOS and therefore not visible. A program of chip.de you can download (Windows Key Viewer) that can read the key. The Key to write on itself. Then you installed Windows 8.1 clean. However, the key in the BIOS does not match the installation, that means you have to use a generic key for a trial version of Windows, which can be found on the Internet everywhere. Once you have Windows installed, you can activate Windows with the previously described key from the BIOS.
Negative:
Keyboard on the left terrible. Maybe I have a Monday model, because it was in the first two purchases of the old Y580, which cost 750 to 850 euros otherwise. Seems generally to be an issue of Lenovo.
Conclusion: If you want a notebook for office work and multimedia is so well served. Just as long as caught up to buy a model with a good keyboard.
