I was far from clear that almost any mobile device, whether smartphone, tablet, digital camera or Power Bank,
an individual power supply requires that only the intended for the device current
supplies. This can contribute even associated with the device USB cable, such as the
Diameter lying in the power supply line.
So I no longer wonder also that a tablet, which is usually loaded with more than 2 amps,
on a smartphone PSU does not even begin to load, since this provides only between 0.5 and 1 Ampere.
Accordingly, it is annoying, of course, that you have to have a whole armada of chargers at hand, which
you still should remember, is one which AC adapter or cable to which device.
The solution is one USB power strip here. The electronic version of this is to recognize how much charge current
the connected devices tolerated and no longer even pass on charging current.
My experience so far is that that actually works. Coarse checked invite all devices as soon
as the respective original chargers. And without heat - neither the charger nor Aukey
the batteries in the devices hanging thereon are heated excessively.
The charging current should be at each jack at 5 volts up to 2.4 amps - as long as desired by the device. Maximum
but may total "only" 8 amps are delivered (40 watts at 5 volts gives 8 amps). So, for example, pulling three simultaneously connected Gräte 7 amps remains only 1 amp to charge for the remaining 2 jacks left - that should be enough but nevertheless for petrol normal households.
The USB chargers previous generation knew no automatic. There had each terminal
the respective amperage be printed. as a user you had to still be careful, also the right
Female associate. That's still less than a year ago.
Still remain the little problems the USB cable specification. Either one now remembers that the original cable is intended for that device or to be concerned for the avoidance of doubt a set of ordinary branded USB cable with a maximum cable cross-section of the power line.
In my case, all to be loaded devices have a micro-USB port, as a bundle offered to micro-USB cables of different lengths of anchor. Their cable with 0.72 mm wire gauge for loading and 0.32 mm for data transfer offer maximum speed of loading and also during data transfer, whether smartphone, tablet or other device. But there are other well-known cable manufacturers. Keep your eyes peeled on the cable purchase.
Personalize it does not harm the devices even if a weak cable is used, it then loads
just slowly, what the Aukey charger then nothing could.
All in all I'm very happy with the compact charger. It is discreetly stow, brings
40 Watt Power properly, the device loads (hopefully permanently) reliable and complies with the CE standards, which also applies to overload and short circuit protection.
The charger comes in power with a narrow Euro plug out, so no bulky safety plug, also the power cord is detachable.
Unfortunately there is no ordinary possibility of wall mounting for the part. I would have liked it otherwise screwed somewhere - stick to the paper does not go in any case, too heavy and the part too much force when plugging cable pulls additionally on wall paper.
The supplied, bilious green pad with countless Minisaugnäpfen incidentally good for nothing, at least not to a behangenes with cables power supply to maintain than a minute in place longer. instead of this nonsense you would like also
can pack an example reasonable USB charging cable.
Anyway Where previously an unsightly 6-safety plug strip took a lot of space, is now space for docks or simply to park the equipment near these inconspicuous charging station. That alone is the purchase price of currently about 19.00 worth (as of November 2014).
I therefore forgive five star - but I prefer without hesitation from star in a review update, if the charging unit starts up but to be striking - with the (sales) company Aukey I have ever experienced not only positive surprises ;-)
PS The packaging is made entirely of cardboard, possibly good for the environment - and yes, the housing edges of the charger are sharp.
Anyway, I wanted anyway no Lego Duplo block, but a solution to the power supply glut.
Moreover, the power supply works absolutely silent and consumed in standby (unfortunately) about 2 watts. from
Reason I take the power supply from the mains even when nothing depends on it. The old original power supply units have the way
EACH eaten 2-5 watts in standby.
